Website Coordinator

Mariposa is looking for a motivated individual with a strong technical knowledge of Shopify to optimize website, assist in resolving technical issues, and provide excellent customer service. The Website Coordinator ensures the accuracy of all products and content on Mariposa.com and Mariposa-Wholesale.com. The role works in NetSuite, Shopify, Google Analytics, and potentially other tools to optimize our site performance. The Website Coordinator works closely with E-commerce and Marketing on day-to-day responsibilities and cross functionally with other departments.

    What You Will Do

    • Collect and compile all information, imagery, and assets that are necessary for creating and maintaining product pages and other ecommerce or marketing related components of the website.
    • Manage and routinely review website content to include product presentation/landing pages on sites to ensure correct categorization, images, copy, pricing, and promotional offers are accurate and meet internal requirements.
    • Seeks to improve retention by providing exemplary customer service.
    • Inspires metric driven continuous improvement efforts.
    • Works with internal and external groups to resolve systemic issues.
    • Monitor inventory as it relates to the website experience and optimize on a weekly basis.
    • Assist with website merchandising on new collections, brand experiences and search results pages.
    • Provide support for marketing and sale campaign activities.
    • Support activities related to new seasonal launches.

    What You Will Need

    • Experience with Shopify and NetSuite content management systems is required.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Excel required.
    • 1-3 years’ experience in e-commerce and/or digital data coordination.
    • A proven ability to work independently and multi-task.

    E-Commerce Associate

    Mariposa is looking for a detail-oriented, critical thinker to join our growing team. This individual will report to the e-commerce Manager and partner with Marketing and Product Development in the management of our digital Brand Partners. The primary focus will be on coordinating and maintaining accurate brand and product information to support visibility across all e-commerce partner platforms.

      What You Will Do

      • Develop and distribute product data files to all relevant users internally and externally.
      • Monitor partner portals daily to ensure orders are shipping within their specific ship window.
      • Provide inventory updates within partner portals daily.
      • Assist with processing e-commerce Returns.
      • Assist Product Development Manager with coordination of images, data, and product attributes ahead of new product launches each season.
      • Maintain accuracy and integrity of all product attributes for use across multiple sales channels.
      • Routinely review Partner websites to ensure correct categorization, images, copy and pricing.
      • Assist with onboarding process for new e-commerce Brand Partners.
      • Participate and assist with other duties as necessary.

      What You Will Need

      • Experience with Shopify and NetSuite content management systems is preferred but not required.
      • Proficiency in MS Office Excel required.

      Full-Time Engraving Associate

      Mariposa, a nationally recognized leader in the gift and tableware industries whose products feature unique designs, manufactured by superior artisans using recycled materials is seeking a Part Time Engraving Associate. Mariposa creates handmade aluminum tableware, glassware and gift accessories that are sold nationally through specialty retailers and leading department stores. This position is focused on engraving products for retailers and consumers with a range of designs from monograms to simple characters to elaborate logos.

      What You Will Do

      • Operate state-of-the-art Gravograph diamond drag rotary engravers (M40, M40G or IS400).
      • Prepare files for engraving with Gravostyle 7.0 or 8.0 proprietary software
      • Additional tasks may include (and are not limited to) operating a polishing machine, keeping inventory, and assisting at other machines in the distribution center.
      • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the equipment.
      • Communicate with coworkers to ensure correct engraving settings.
      • Maintain standards of engraving quality.
      • Load and unload equipment and materials.
      • Requires involvement in the distribution center including counting inventory, unloading inventory, picking and packing orders and helping with other warehouse tasks.
      • Inspect products for defects & measure using electronic test equipment, measuring instruments, microscope.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion

      What You Will Need

      • Previous experience with CAM software (Computer-aided manufacturing)
      • Align cutting tool and keep it properly calibrated on a regular basis
      • Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerance • Monitor automated machine
      • Ability to set up the controller of a machine, inspect equipment for issues or malfunctions and request repairs
      • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to deal with a range of tasks at the same time
      • Ability to meet the expectation and requirements of a wide range of customers
      • Experience of having worked in a similar role is a plus
      • Discipline to study and follow work orders & instructions
      • Knowledge of safety relevant to job
      • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, stoop, twist, carry, reach for entire shift (as much as 8 hours in a day)

      Education and Experience

      • High school diploma or GED desired.
      • Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and product IDs.
      • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

        

      Warehouse Associate

      Mariposa, a nationally recognized leader in the gift and tableware industries whose products feature unique designs, manufactured by superior artisans using recycled materials is seeking a Warehouse Associate. Mariposa creates handmade aluminum tableware, glassware and gift accessories that are sold nationally through specialty retailers and leading department stores. This position is focused on fulfilling customer orders and performing duties in shipping and receiving, order filling, and stocking.

      What You Will Do

      • Pick and pack orders to highest company standards to ensure proper presentation, optimum customer satisfaction and safe delivery
      • Process orders using Endicia, UPS World Ship and FedEx software.
      • Attend to inventory replenishment when necessary.
      • Kit products as needed.
      • Participate in maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk throughout shift.

      What You Will Need

      • High school diploma or GED desired.
      • 1 or more years of pick/pack experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping software ideal.
      • Knowledge of product packing requirements.
      • Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and product IDs.
